Also I will say seeing A2 fail to take off but being far from a bomb and just doing ok is exactly what I expected lol

600-800m. I believe this film will do conventionally well (as in 1.5B+) due to pent-up interest from the first, but until I actually have some concrete indication as to what this film actually has to offer, I see no reason to believe that people will flock to this movie like it's the second coming of Christ

Deadline says a 16M Monday gross

Disney/20th Century Studio’s Avatar: The Way of Water is heading to a Monday around $16M which will take its four day total to $150.1M. Nothing to cry about as the Monday for the James Cameron directed movie bests the first Monday of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ($11.1M).”

I don’t hang out in a lot of gaming spaces, so I don’t have a lot to comment on this. But I will use my young nephew as an example. He is either 12 or 13. And he’s super quiet. And he’s not really into music, and he’s not really into movies. But he loves video games. All he does is play video games with his friends, and watch TikTok/YouTube videos about video games.

(and honestly, I kind of see the appeal. Even I started to watch a couple Sims Influencers. One of them has like a 80 part video series — it’s an entire series within challenges and storylines — and I spend a lot of time looking up Build videos.)

Whenever I ask if my nephew if wants to go to a movie with me, he normally asks when is it gonna be on Disney+. That said, I am training him to go to the movie theater. He comes with me to go to see all the big Marvel movies. We need to work on not playing with his phone, but at least I’m getting him out of the house.

(I should note: he absolutely loves the animated Clone Wars. Anakin is his favorite!  He watches all the LucasFilm stuff)
