I expect the 3-day to come in just under 60M. And 88-89M 4 day

I get what Disney is doing tho, last weekend the 135M was viewed as a disappointing opening and they couldn't lowballed or it would look worse 

 

But now, this is a solid number and when tomorrow numbers came way higher, the headlines will be great

It’s a bit of a lowball, but also a Sunday Christmas (the smallest day of week bump), massive cold weather snap keeping some people home, and Xmas last year being especially weak, it’s reasonable to project low and hope for higher

I don't see a path for 100M even if it has great legs like Sing 2. I am expecting a 90-95M DOM total for Puss.

2) Do regular people pay attention to those headlines when they saw the headlines about the opening weekend the day before?

Good target. Sing 2 legs would get it to $82M but it's only half the opening of S2 so maybe it can leg a bit further.
