Yeah, that's better than having no work for these little people you care so much about. If they find it offensive they wouldn't accept the job and no one would force them to. I don't get why people are so sensitive these days, it's not even personal for them. Maybe, just maybe kids with this disability would think that they are being presented in a movie and feel seen. There are many ways to make these dwarf characters fun, meaningful and not a joke, but I guess avoiding altogether is an much easier way.

Idk, studios often lowball public budgets, especially when something underperforms or bombs. And I'm sure Fast 9 cost more than 200 mln in reality and probably lost money too. if Fast X cost 340 mln, it's not crazy to assume Jurassic World sequels could cost 200+ mln each.

Actually Deadline had calculated using Budgets plus other costs and found that Dominion which did 1 billion was more profitable than Fallen Kingdom which did 1.3 billion.

Peter Dinklage has roles where he plays brilliant people or his size is a non-issue so perhaps there can be more roles like that instead of laughing at them?

I hope either Guardians, Spider-Verse or MI7 does. Would be nice to see two fantastic CBMs that deserve the crown (GOTG3 and we all know Spider-Verse is gonna be great) especially after getting so many shit CBM’s. MI7 will most likely be a banger too.

I think this is absolutely false. It did 300 mln less and probably cost at least as much, sequels to successful blockbusters don't cost less, no way it was as or more profitable than Fallen Kingdom.

TFA started with 2 billion, Rise ended with 1 billion. That is half of your audience lost.

 

Plus, the nielsen ratings for Andor (despite being a decent show) and Mandalorian 3 where really bad, because of the reception that Boba Fett and Kenobi got.

 

And Solo lost a lot of money.

It was a product of it's time and yeah some things can be changed and you can change something to do with the dwarfs but  you acting like we haven't had good dwarf characters before.
