Comcast owns NBCUniversal and is using Sunday Night Football as basically an ad for Migration.  Ive seen 4 or 5 commercials and an in game promo. Will be interesting to see if this helps sales.

Aquaman T-27

112 tickets

Indy: 1.11M

Marvels: 1.26M

GoTG3: .80M

Blue Beetle: Current tickets cume is just above BB's day 1 of presales

Aquaman T-26

63 tickets (not great)

Indy: 1.13M

Marvels: 1.23M

GoTG3: .82M

Will likely drop GoTG3 going forward, as it's simply a higher class than what Aquaman's previews will come in at.

AD-HOC NOTE:  The Ad-hoc comp has been bumped up by 20% above and beyond TET's already inflated ATP to account for the more expensive ticket prices (and lack of kids/seniors tickets) for Renaissance.

Daily updates, such as they are, the rest of the way.

FWIW, the T-7 TET ad-hoc adj Friday comp would have been 3.77m, so not a ton of difference since then but at least is going up.

FYI for openers and holdovers this week..,

My 14 has already reserved 6 screens for 5 new openers, so it's gonna be a tight week for holdovers (assuming none of the new films get any more screens).  As for the openers and their presale sets...

Beyonce - 2 screens (1 PLF / 1 reg)

Godzilla - 1 screen

Silent Night - 1 screen

Shift - 1 screen

Animal - 1 screen (early booked, so probably a bigger foreign film than normal)

So, 8 screens left, assuming nothing opening gets any more showings.

Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): no showtimes
Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 0 (2 showtimes)
San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 21 (2 showtimes)

And between 5 and at a max 10M OW.

Still just plodding along. Let us see how things go final week.

Renaissance MTC1

Previews(T-4) - 98615/321231 2483994.00 1626 shows

Friday - 82681/718167 2101422.00 3478 shows

Pace is starting to amp up. I think MTC1 alone could hit 3.5m with good final week pace. Overall I am hopeful for 5m previews.

Is there a unique ATP for Renaissance?

its very high. $22+ for regular shows and almost $30 for Imax/PLF. No discounts for anything. Even kids tickets cost the same as are matinee shows. at MTC2 it has sold just 15415 tickets as of yesterday evening but in gross its at 335795.00.

Edit; Actual gross should be 350K+ as some shows are not returning the ticket prices correctly for me. Need to debug them for sure.

AMC is doing another Screen Unseen on November 27, the same time as Regal's next Monday Mystery Movie. Both are rated R and about 2 hours long. Will there be one movie or two? Already seeing guesses for American Fiction (too prestigious, though Odeon showed Anatomy of a Fall as a mystery movie), Poor Things (lolol), and some horror movie called The Cello with Jeremy Irons and Tobin Bell that's a co-production with Saudi Arabia. Hmmm, which one could it be? 🤔

Well, egg on my face, the poster in the RegalUnlimited subreddit who's correctly spoiled the other Monday Mystery Movies says tonight's movie is American Fiction. Though there seems to be a little more caginess than usual with the confirmation, so it may actually end up being some terrible horror movie after all. Just passing along the info...

Two sales. Not doing great but not a terrible day all things considered. Also wanted to note that there's a theater I've been checking that has a few Aquaman and Migration showtimes and not one ticket has sold for either of them.

Migration still continues its 0 sale streak on T-24. Very excited for the first sale to eventually occur. Ngl I'm losing just a little bit of the motivation because of how slow sales are for all three movies I'm tracking along with how long it takes to check the three movies.

Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 0 (3 showtimes)
Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 5 (3 showtimes)
San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 120 (8 showtimes)
LA (AMC Universal): 177 (9 showtimes)

Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 549.

If you are getting demotivated, check Christmas Day.  If your movies don't have sales on Dec 25/26, the biggest movie going days of the year yet, then it's time to totally panic and abandon ship:).
