The joyride continues for Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 which has entered the list of Top 10 highest-grossing movies ever worldwide. Now this close to $1.524B global ($1,523.9M) through Wednesday, the sequel has cruised past Furious 7 ($1.515B) and The Avengers ($1.521B) to land the No. 10 spot on the all-time chart.

Through Wednesday, the international box office cume is $905.1M. Mexico, where IO2 is the highest-grossing movie ever, has crossed $100M, while the final release market — Japan — starts play today. Domestically, IO2 is at $618.8M through yesterday.

 

Considering the $905.1M figure and where it was on Sunday, the film grossed $12.05M across Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

It'll be very close. DOM is probably $650M-$660M and Japan while not breaking out like other territories still looks like at least $20M. It'll be funny to see JW, TLK and IO2 all within $20M of each other with massive gaps either side of them for the next film.

It was mentioned it sold 3m tickets. But that is not official release for sure. It must be pirated.

That $4.9 million from Japan includes Wednesday and Thursday. The three day total was more like $3.6m

The high end gap would have been crazier if China had been in play for NWH
