How are we factoring in Cinema Day, whenever they schedule it, into the Inside Out forecasts? TS4 didn't have that or any other major Pixar Father's Day weekend release. They only had the Labor Day expansions.

I don’t like them either, but the projection checks out. I was doubtful at first but somewhere around next week Deadpool and Wolverine breaks $1B.

Ah, I have no problems with the projections. I think BOT kinda expected those.

I'm not sure they're doing that again. It was August 27 last year...

I guess we'll just have to wait and see? I know they announced it very close to the day last year, like a week or so in advance, so we won't know if it's happening or not until near the end of August I suppose? I do know they scheduled it before Labor Day because it was a nightmare having the rush from both the discount and the holiday weekend at the same time. So if they do it or not it probably won't be Labor Day.

Will the talk of theatrical being over continue ?

Will the talk that the issue is too many reboot, sequel, etc... continue ?

Yep the usual suspects will do it again as soon as there is a quiet weekend.

(not just here btw, social media, the trades etc).

Same jump for Longlegs than Insidious 5 . The rest of The top 5 has ,like i expected , lower Tuesday jump. Wednesday drop will be around the same as Last Week and also better Thursday drop , logically .

1) : Deadpool : 85M

2) : Trap : 20M

3) : Twisters : 18,5M

4) : DM4 : 10M

5) : IO2 : 6,5M

6) : Harold ( and few friends on theaters) : 6M

7) : LongLegs : 3,5M

For the first time I think IO2 is taking down JW DOM.

And it may get closer to TLK and JW WW than I thought it could.

So, based off these numbers, it would seem highly likely D&W hits $600M DOM, correct?

Yes, id say it looks like it could reach 610-640M now.

Oh I'm gonna complain about that until the cows come home...or at least people bother to see more than just NTCs over and over and over and over and over again.

Sit back and get comfortable lol. People will see IPs until the sun explodes. And considering the breakouts are usually more IP based than purely original content, even originals that break out have something based on it.
