JAPAN BOX OFFICE | Demon Slayer breaks all time record for OW

Recommended Posts

Its not that Noah is having a huge day, its just that frozen is shitting the bed.Omni, get ready to be sick. Friday looking down 50% at 1430.Noah's opening day is weaker than spidey or xmen. Frozen should take weekend.

If its weekend is under 4M, which seems more than possible, I think we can kiss 244M goodbye.

afternoon picked up a bit. Maybe it will be down less than 33%The weekend maybe down 20-30%. 4.0-4.6m. I dont see why it doesn't have a 5 multiplier and beat 244.it already has titanic beat in admissionsit will have the top OW multiplier of all time Edited by T E Lawrence

The rate of decline of activity on this particular thread is a lot faster than frozen's decreases in Japan.

Well, that early DVD/Blue Ray release announcement kind of took the wind out of our sails. It's probably not a coincidence that the sudden drop off at theaters came at exactly the same time as the announcement, so having people just know the release is coming has put a big dent in Frozen, the actual release will probably do much more damage.

Haha. That's fine by me actually. I'm getting busier lately, so less posts in this thread means it's easier for me to catch up. :P

I'm still pretty confident about $244m, but not so sure about Titanic in yen. I hope it's still be able to reach it. Btw, I'm surprised Noah is having a decent opening. It's even beating Frozen on Friday.

Speaking of Titanic in Yen, just how much were Titanic tickets back then? Frozen has already passed it in admissions and had both an increase in ticket prices and at least some higher prices from 3D so I'm a bit perplexed on how Titanic did so much more in Yen with fewer admissions?
