Alpha
Frankenweenie is dead. Period. Wreck It Ralph just sweeped at the PGAs and Annie's.
riczhang
Congrats to Wreck it Ralph! Frankenweenie didn't get anything so dare I say that WiR is a lock? I wouldn't say a lock as Frankenweenie is something that's much more up BAFTA and AMPAS's alley in terms of style and prestige. It's also directed by Burton so it'd also be a way to reward Tim Burton. However, with that being said I do think that WiR is now the frontrunner that's miles ahead. I never expected Frankenweenie to win either PGA or GG, but losing the Annies is a huge blow.

ddddeeee
Ralph wasn't eligible for the BAFTA so it'll be interesting to see what wins that. By the by how come Hitchcock was eligible for the BAFTAs and Ralph wasn't when they both have the same release date in the UK? Jack Nevada
It's just.... not funny. I feel that way about Paranorman. I think all of its attempts at comedy failed, and the movie wasn't enjoyable to me.

At least Paranorman had stuff to offer beyond it's humour though.

Jack Nevada
no. Yes. The sets were detailed and colorful, and the characters were far more expressive than the ones in Paranorman. And in general I just like the Aardman style of animation

Jack Nevada
Brave was very well animated, too. Frankenweenie also, but I didn't care for the designs of the main family
