Olive
SW is not a big Brand in SK, EP3 only made 1.5M admissions. EP7 will have a good increase.
Lordmandeep
Dollar amount is all that maters in the end. Just hope SK and HK dont translate to China.
diskojustice
Further detail, first day of TFA gross is about 1.225m USD. (1,451,705,000 KRW, 1USD = 1184 KRW as of today) Thanksfully, value of USD is on rise now, thanks to recent fiscal decisions. Also as of gross, TFA is no.1 film on Thursday. From my speculation, TFA is about doing 1m admission for 4-day first week, about 7.3-7.4m USD gross.

Giesi
I thought this huge K-Pop band promoted TFA in South Korea/Asia :/ it seems like Asia isn't so hyped for a Star Wars movie. At least this gives SW8 a lot of room to grow.
diskojustice
Friday's gross is about 1.275m so that makes 2.5m for 2-day total. Still think it can go more than 7m 4-day.

At least this gives SW8 a lot of room to grow. China and Japan will undoubtedly huge, and SK has grown much bigger than prequel era. Disney has put so much effort on TFA and the gross would have been bigger had it released in summertime.

diskojustice
TFA's saturday gross is 2.755m USD (3,261,643,891 KRW, 1184 KRW = 1USD) 3-day gross is about 5.25m Getting closer to USD 7m+ @ for 4-day debut. For Christmas week, there are no new competition. And 'The Tiger' gets weaker and weaker everyday. So 'The Himalayas' and TFA will have stellar cruise toward new year's day week. diskojustice
Sunday 1. Himalaya 441,844 / 1,528,035 2. TFA 360,027 / 1,070,179 3. The Tiger 180,461 / 737,
diskojustice
TFA's sunday gross is 2.627m (KRW 3,109,806,900) That makes 4-day total gross including wednesday preview to 7.912m (KRW 9,368,527,553) It exceeds expectation, especially 3D and IMAX boost gross toward weekend so much. 3M +@ admission and total gross of around 25m is not out of the park. WOM is not great, not toxic either. And lack of new competition is beneficial to TFA toward Christmas.
