peludo
It is curious that both DOM and OS weekend has been exactly the same (175 million). If we asume a final of 450 for IM3, that would be 275 million more from US, and, asuming same legs, another 275 from rest of the world. Total WW would be about 1.23 billion. This whole release strategy may be the most brilliant and lucrative endeavor in film history. It's unprecedented.
tommycruise
Ya but won't the OS competition from Star Trek and Fast and Furious kill its late legs?
A Marvel Fanboy
STID is nonexistent OS. On one cares about. FF6 wont come in 3 weeks.
peludo
Ya but won't the OS competition from Star Trek and Fast and Furious kill its late legs? Star Trek is not a hard competitor OS. First part did only 128 million OS. FF can be, but the most part of OS gross will be done by FF release. 800 is definitely in play.
