It is the highest opening weekend of all time in the United Arab Emirates and Argentina. The film has a bigger opening than Iron Man 3 in 21 markets. The lead market was Russia on $18.1m, followed by Germany on $12.9m, Mexico on $12.7m, France on $10.1m, Italy on $9m and Taiwan on $7m. All results are the biggest debut weekends in the franchise to date. The film added $6.2m in the UK following last weekend’s record launch to stand at $25.3m.
