Letsuseournoggin
Picked up my teenager sister from the movies. She watched it in IMAX. Parking lot was packed to the brim and she said everything was pretty much sold out for the movie the rest of the night.
superduperm
Will Nikki report weekend estimates in a couple of hours or will everyone just say "screw it" and wait until Monday?

Letsuseournoggin
Was this at Edwards Marquee?Yes sir. Placed was pack. Just picked her up. Asked her if times were sold out on the screen that shows times and she said yes. She also added that her friends went and were turned away because of it. Whether not that means they were truly sold out or they just didn't want to wait for later times, I don't know.
iceroll
That would be so awkward for Christian Bale... Even if he truly hates him I don't see how beating up a complete stranger would be a pleasant experience.

Nolan brought it full circle nicely IMO. The focus on Bruce was great. Edited July 22, 2012 by Letsuseournoggin
redfirebird2008
Just checked Fandango and you're right. Definitely more sellouts than last night at both Marquee and Greenway.

superduperm
Is $50M Saturday, possible? You never see an increase on Saturday minus midnights in July so that would be pretty cool, at least...
Eraserhead
The day at my theater seemed slower than yesterday but the night actually seemed busier.
darthdevidem01
Considering that was quite a bit before the midnight era really kicked off it's actually extremely impressive its managed to hang on in the top 10 midnights for 7 years. Bravo.Yup I'm proud of how well it's held over the last 7 (wow it's been that long?) years.
pmoore
Praying for a cool miracle, like reports of a busier Sunday than Friday. Possible, not probable.

ecstasy
Yup. And it's the best movie of 2011. Better than Drive, even. Everyone should see it.LOL I was following that movies release and gave up. All of that litigation and so forth. The movie was actually longer than 3 hours and the studio wanted him to cut it and he couldn't. Aw man, what a mess. I'm sure you read up on it. At one point, Scorsese got involved in the editing process. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it. Did you put a review up? I'd like read your thoughts.
