Hell, I'm seeing it. It's going to be cute and harmless fun at the very least. I don't like that Illumination has become lazier since their beginnings, though. DM2 quite possibly had one of the most messy and unnecessarily convoluted stories I've seen in an animated film in this era, and they don't fix obvious missteps because they don't have to. That's kind of sad.

Plus, I'm a fan of Sandra Bullock and it looks like she's having a lot of fun with this role. I think she could be a possible substitute for the human element lost with Gru and the little girls.

Yeah..I think DM3 will have an easier shot at $1B when it comes out.....China's markets are insanely strong with these mega-blockbusters.

DM2 got to $970M WW two years ago. And made nearly $53 in China alone.
