JackO
If Expendables 2 gets 10M OD and it's OD is 40% of it's OW, then it'll get a 25M OW. BOMB.
MrPink
if grab 10.5-11 m for his weekend,is it considered as good?Considering all the new releases, it would be alright, but it would all but rule out 450m I think.
lab276
Paranorman/Sparkle will struggle to open to 10m.How are you getting that?
redfirebird2008
Whether it's $10m or $11m, it's pretty fuckin' bad. TE1 made $13.3m two years ago. Sequels are more frontloaded, so not a good sign.

If by rational and logical you mean made no sense the whole time and just rambled about nonsense then totally.

MovieMan89
I think you lost rational and logical after you brought 9/11 into the discussion. Why? Some of you are using a tragedy that just happened to justify your means. Why not use another too? Obviously there's no limits with some of you when it comes to being wrong. Michael Yun Xia
The signs were there though. The Flixster/RT ratings were especially telling for me, where it was in the 34-35K range on Thursday and didn't show much acceleration over the week. Thought it might struggle for a 1000 ratio.

MovieMan89
And for the record FTF I've responded to practically every post you loonies have thrown at me. Just because you apparently can't read and come back with an intelligent rebuttal doesn't change that fact.

Obviously there's no limits with some of you when it comes to being wrong.Like I said before, you are the only one using the tragedy to pursue your agenda. Everyone, from posters, to respected sources, to the trades are saying that it had an effect on box office, which you seem to think is over because some film managed to hold onto 3M over a weekend. Gopher
Not quite sure what Movieman89 was arguing, but anyone off the street can tell you that 9/11 had a huge effect on the box office. I'm not even going to explain why. Just look up the weekend results on on BOM. Edited August 18, 2012 by Gopher

JackO
It's after midnight east coast and Nikke is more concerned Jay Leno laying off staffers then box office. I would not be surprised to see an even worse number tomorrow.
