I don't see this until tomorrow. According to some negative reactions, the plot may be too simple & boring for them, and this make them feel like MV.

Audience seem not to like the style of the movie, the music doesn/t match their taste.

BD not acclimatized in China is so surprising. I know a lot of unfamiliar songs is a problem but......complaining "plot is too simple" is just picky. It's not like xXx3 has got a more compelling story.

How much did Pacific Rim and IDR make on their opening weekend? If Val can manage anywhere between IDR and PR...that would be solid. But too much competition in coming weeks so not sure...

Sad for BD. Will only finish with $15-20M USD, but at least it will still cross the $100M mark thanks to a great opening in Russia with Italy, South Korea and Hong Kong to come.

$36m IDR 3-day OW, $46m PR 5-day opening.

Valerian would only do 10M on total run after opening week-end at 30M ? Doesn't sounds verry optimistic even with arrival of new movies.

Probably daily #1 will be back to WW2 soon before Dunkirk coming.
