Expendables 3 (8.15th) would have a good shot if it were in 3D. $80~90m in 2D.

If there is as much demand for movies in Japan, why wouldn't they expand the number of theaters like China ?

well you have to ask them, but perhaps they don't see the need

Based on the grosses of the first two movies and Escape Plan, I believe it has a chance of making it close to the $100M mark.
