As for tomorrow it's PS will be 5.25m by midnight, and because it are nation wide previews starting at 7pm I guess it will have a decent amount of walk ups so probably 10m day tomorrow.

I don't know about it, the question will be how much will it increase in showtimes and is star wars as presalle heavy in china as in the rest of the world.

Maybe you are right, it's just so strange with it starting at 7pm, so maybe more like 2.7? Close to OD but not an actualy OD increase because of less showtimes.

Reviews say SW9 is non stop action, so maybe China will like that? But then again they say the plot is very convoluted so maybe not?

More than one reviewer used the term "non-stop" action. Very fast paced, heavy on exposition, heavy on action scenes. Will probably know more how china would feel about it after we see it

Didn't knew RoTS did $10mn in China. That was quite great in 2005 considering even Spider-man 2 was just $6mn and LoTR 3 was $10mn.

Prequel trilogy was actually quite positively received in China. So if TROS is prequels-level bad, it might do well. Lol.

Ya, good call. 8.5 now.  mostly only fans will watch the sneaks... it can only go down from here. 
 

And some fans have been generous, high score despite their disappointment; I have read some many posts on weibo. 
 

basically to reverse its fate, it needed at least 9, but it didn’t get there. If IpMan4 doesn’t explode on Maoyan score this Friday, then it will be a slow December.

@POTUS 2020 we will get about an 2.5 - 2.55 multi from 5.35m. Right between and MN and an OD so pretty good gues by us

 

Also ps's for tomorrow are severly lacking won't go over 5.5m by 3am. probably just over 5m (5.1m-5.3m). So even with 4 multi it barely clears 20m.  The good news is friday will 100% see a bump. (as in there will surly be an increase, ps are close to those of thursday with a day to go and a weekend evening).
