CJohn
It does seem to have a bit less toxic WOM than Devil Inside, right? It seems to be very bad. The CS should be D or C.
baumer
The thing that was good about TCM is everything once they get to the slaughterhouse. The ending was kind of cool and I give the film high marks for going in a completely different direction than most remakes/reboots/sequels to horror films. But there are just too many silly plot pieces (the carnival is the biggest). Edited January 5, 2013 by baumer

But I will still probably see it for free this weekend.

fishstick
That would put it on a pace of about 19-20 mill. Very good.Did you include NFL drop in this? I guess DU`s more prone to games drop than kids and/or female-oriented movies.
The Dark Alfred
I told you guys that don't fall for a matinee report for a horror film. 10m is a great start for TCM. PG, JR and TI40 all had roughly 80% increases. Promised Land is 10th with 1.3m

RyneOh1040
I'll say the same thing. Did people really expect that? All predictions I saw were for TH: AUJ or DU being number one.Yes, there were people saying this could open close to the Biel remake. Most estimates seemed to be in 14-18 milliion range but some peope did expect it. Edited January 5, 2013 by RyneOh1040
