ChD
Good for Django that it got 3'rd place at least. A Haunted House must've had a >60% drop.

ChD
Skyfall passes 300 mil today I think.Nope... Probably Thursday. It made 360k on Sunday, and in order to reach 300M today, it would have to stay flat Monday and Tuesday, which I doubt will happen.Either Thursday or Friday, for sure.

fishstick
Aw come on. The Hobbit did okay. Not the juggernaut many thought it would be but it's alright.IMO, this is the worst case scenario for the movie. if it was a juggernaut, fanboys would be insufferable. if it was a real flop, they would be insufferable with "misunderstood masterpiece, will become a classic like Shawshenk and Blade Runner" bullshit. This wa, neither a flop nor a pehonmemon, it`s going to be forgotten faster and hopefully other 2 movies don`t do any better either. Little worse would be preferable becasue Bloom, Lilly and Turner deserve to end up doing Yogurt voiceivers like Lisa Kudrow. Jandrew
Expectations for Hobbit were too high, every time mass predictions for over $450mil are thrown around, the movie risks it. If the average prediction for TA2 is $630m and it makes $510m, you'll start seeing the Flopvengers thrown around. People still call TDKR a disappointment? It was never poised to pass the TDK, its still #7 all time with $448mil. How a $400mil figure is disappointing im clueless, but again its over-expectation. As long as WB considers it a success, its a success. It doesn't matter what we think because we will be receiving $0 of the final gross.
