4815162342
From what I hear Episode 10 will be 64 minutes long instead of the usual 53-54 minutes. That will give them the time to set those other plotlines on a course for Season 3.It also seems apparent that Daenerys' final Book 2 chapter will be held over for Season 3, since she's only getting to the House of the Undying next week. We aren't missing too much, since the last chapter pretty much just processes the fallout of her HotU adventure and introduces a couple wrinkles that move her to the next stage of her journey. 4815162342
I just loved how nonchalant Stannis was about a chunk of his fleet getting blown up. That's part of what makes him the battle commander who makes nearly everyone shits their pants in fear of meeting him. Yeah he doesn't do charisma or speeches, but when you get surprised by a medieval napalm explosion, the one thing your army wants to know is that you're not afraid, and what better way to show them that than to nonchalantly be the first one into the landing boats, the first one onshore, and the first one up the ladders.Yeah, Stannis and his cause in the end had a huge setback, but as was said in the first book, Stannis is iron, he breaks before he bends, so until he's in the ground, he will be back, because in his mind, he has to. Lordmandeep
lol I accidently read a spoiler and then spoiled my self.I must say the third season is going to make the past two season look like nothing,After that the storyline really lacks a clear focus. 4815162342
lol I accidently read a spoiler and then spoiled my self. I must say the third season is going to make the past two season look like nothing, After that the storyline really lacks a clear focus. Completely false. The storyline expands in width to encompass more places and characters, but the focus is just as clear. Basically the end of Book 5 is the "widest" point of the story, and starting from page 1 of Book 6 everything will be contracting back inwards geographically. Cedarpoint1111
I must of missed something, but when did the tyrells and lanisters join together? Was there some sign in this episode that said they joined? Is it that part when they blast into the throne room, the guy is a tyrell right? Is it that part when they blast into the throne room, the guy is a tyrell right? The dude with Tywin was Loras Tyrell, Renly's boyfriend. Remember in Episode 5 Littlefinger chatted up Loras and Margaery after Renly died? And then in Episode 6 Littlefinger met with Tywin about possibly allying with the Tyrells and Tywin told him to get a move on.The actual "joining" happened offscreen but we'll get a couple details about it in the finale. Ariadne
Awesome episode - best of the season. Sansa was awesome in every way. It's a pity she hasn't been given much to do this season. And The Rains of Castamere was brilliant.
iceroll
Shae's scenes in this episode were really good too. I was on her imdb page today and it turns out she was a porn actress with lovely titles such as "Sextrip - Heisses Pflaster Amsterdam" and "2002 wilde Sex-Nächte" under her belt. Ariadne
It's funny how much better the writing was this episode than the last. Martin isn't afraid to take whole sections of dialogue from the books, you don't have to change things just for the sake of it.

Yeah, that was brought up when she was cast, but she's a really good actress which is the main thing.
Community Manager Water Bottle Posted May 29, 2012 Community Manager Share Posted May 29, 2012 Shae's scenes in this episode were really good too. I was on her imdb page today and it turns out she was a porn actress with lovely titles such as "Sextrip - Heisses Pflaster Amsterdam" and "2002 wilde Sex-Nächte" under her belt. I imagine she was desperate when she did those. Although, this explains why she has no problem being naked for Game of Thrones. It's probably her first job where she got to actually act when she gets naked.
iceroll
It's pretty rare that someone can transition from porn to mainstream acting. I guess things are different in Germany (where she's from) and it was easier for her. In the US people would be up in arms about such a thing. DeeCee
Traci Lords is another one. She was actually Dejah Thoris in a 2009 direct to DVD version of A Princess of Mars.

4815162342
Casting news: Roles definitely appearing in Season 3: – Mance Rayder: A former member of the Night’s Watch who became the “King Beyond the Wall,” the leader of the Wildlings. – Daario Naharis: A confident and seductive warrior. – Jojen Reed; Meera Reed: A teenage brother and sister duo with special insights. – Edmure Tully: A brash young member of the Tully family, Catelyn's younger brother. – Ser Brynden Tully (The Blackfish): Catelyn Stark’s uncle. – Lady Selyse Florent: Stannis Baratheon’s wife. – Shireen: Stannis’ daughter. – Olenna Redwyne (The Queen of Thorns): Margaery Tyrell’s sharp-witted grandmother. – Beric Dondarrion: A skilled knight who is the leader of the outlaw group Brotherhood Without Banners. – Thoros of Myr: A red priest who follows the same religion as Melisandre. – Tormund Giantsbane: A Wildling raider. Now, if a Book 3 character is not listed here, does that mean they are not in season three? Apparently not. Because Benioff then added: “And a few others…holy hell that’s a lot of new faces.” http://insidetv.ew.c...-season-3-cast/ So happy they're not dropping the Blackfish, the Reeds, and Stannis' family. Otherwise I'd be all like: Edited May 29, 2012 by 4815162342
