Game of Thrones (TV ONLY) [Leaked Spoilers prohibited]

Tyrion is actually fairly age appropriate for her considering all of the other matchups in Westeros. What is he like 23-25 years old in the books?

Jaime and Cersei were 30, the main ASOIAF wiki says he was 24 when the first book started, with Sansa being 11.

Oh yeah that's right Sansa did start off the series pretty young. Well she's already 14-15, just give it a few more years and they'll be alright  ;)

So... what is this? The other half of book 3? Book 4? Book 5? I am lost

Season 4 is the final 40% of Book 3 with some elements of the first chunks of Books 4 and 5 tossed in. For example everything with Bran is an adaptation of his stuff in Book 5 along with some filler. We'll probably hit the end of Dany's Book 3 material by episode 5 or 6. For Theon/Boltons it's a mix of Book 5 stuff and invented filler.

King's Landing, The Wall, Sansa, and Arya look look to end the season when their Book 3 stuff ends.

SER POUNCES RISES as well as TommenVery good episode. Bryan Cogman's by far the best of the writing staff for the show. That final scene confirms a theory many readers have had but have never had proof for, so to see that was some mindblowing revelation shit.

I'm curious to see what readers think of a couple of the wayyyyy different from book things that happened tonight.I kinda loved that I was surprised by some things as a reader.

Are you talking about Olenna's "The Other Boleyn Girl" origin? :P Yeah, not sure about how I like that yet as one thing I admired about the Tyrells is how protective and caring they are of each other and would never do that to a sibling. But then again, the Queen of Thorns was from House Redwyne before marrying into the greater House Tyrell, and something like that to further her own ambition is totally her. Lol at Tommen's reaction to Margaery's nightly visit. :P

The baby ritual reveal was kinda cheesy, IMO. So White Walkers babies grow up in the wild to be White Walkers? That's kinda lame and takes away a lot of the "otherworlidness" of the White Walkers that makes them so creepy and uncanny in the world of Westeros. I prefer zombie Walkers feasting on babes to this slightly more feral version of Wildlings.

Well the White Walkers aren't the zombies. The zombies are just reanimated corpses called "wights." The WW are another race basically. It's in the books that way too. The WW are called "The Others" in the books and the one we saw at the end is the "Great Other." Whom is the opposite of Melisandre's fire God, R'hollor.
