I have heard that the last books are not as good as the first three, so I really have no problem with the showrunner making up storylines for the other 3 seasons left.

 

I have also read somewhere in the Internet that George Martin already told the showrunners how he wants to end the story. I have no worries if that is truth.

I think they're very good, they're just different than the first 3.  While maybe not "as good" as the first few, they are still very good in their own right, and the things that DO happen are quite awesome.

Fans expect it to include Tommen's coronation and also be Stannis-heavy, since they are both "first of their name" as claimed kings of Westeros

I agree for the most part but there are still some boring parts. Some bits with Dany and Tyrion in book 5 are rather monotonous imo and Cersei's and Samwell's sections in AFFC were just agonizing at certain points. Luckily, there are almost as many Jaime chapters in book 4 which somewhat offset the dull moments
