  3. He probably goes to the playground after an empty late night showing ends around 2 AM
  4. I haven't wanted to throw up like this at the sight of a poster for a long time.
  5. The last three (edit: the three before Nausicaa) are all terrific. Porco Rosso is easily the most entertaining Miyazaki/Ghibli movie I've seen.
  6. Stewart, Palmer, Riley Keough and Jena Malone really need to play four sisters one of these days.
  7. Heat, Enemy, Eraserhead, Seven, The Turin Horse, Shutter Island
  8. Since I'm working out my winter game predictions right now, I see Hacksaw Ridge pulling an Unbroken/Lone Survivor, Arrival going for 150+ and Fantastic Beasts barely cracking 200 (if not going under).
  9. My 162m summer game prediction for it is still my best box office moment. I remember exactly two other people predicted 130-140m for it too.
  10. This was recently pushed forward here from December 8 to November 11, which, thank fuck because that would have been a really tough wait.

  12. I'll always have a soft spot for Treasure Planet as the first movie I ever saw in theaters (but it's good even without that). Was sad to see just how hard it flopped once I discovered box office a few years later.
  13. It's sure to happen, the only question is when. My guess is Roadside won't want to Weinstein it and drag it through limited release until Christmas/Oscar noms, they'll probably push it wide either on Thanksgiving or on December 9 at the latest.
