  1. @Reddroast now has rights to all of my DC characters except the following: - Green Lantern Corps - Static Shock - Both Martian Manhunter and Green Arrow, rights will be shared with myself and @Reddroast
  2. @cayommagazine As Martian Manhunter excels at the May box office with an OW of $68M, Endless Entertainment has managed to find a new partner for the CAYOM DC Universe in Horizon Entertainment, giving them the shared rights to Endless’ plethora of DC characters except Static Shock and Green Lantern Corps. The universe will still continue but with Horizon producing, distributing and handling most of the films and carrying on the universe from there. Endless will press on with production for Static Shock 3, Martian Manhunter 2 and Green Arrow 3, which will still be in that universe in the next phase with the latter two of three as Horizon Entertainment will get a producing credit as well as be their to give a hand on feedback. Endless is said to have film rights for sequels of movies Siege of Savage and prior but Horizon Entertainment will be taking the rights for Blue and Gold and Plastic-Man sequels. The two companies will also join together for an untitled sequel in The Siege of Savage which Horizon would handle distribution and Endless will help with production and another project yet to be unveiled.
  3. Projectionists, what total is Puss looking at? Considering it’s likely to do 11-12M this weekend.
  4. I’m surprised Monkey Ball is lower. Was thinking it have had gotten to 150m with it holds unless weekdays were mediocre.
  5. Y9 50M+ Opening Weekends: $50M OW: 1. The Queen Who Never Was: $100,844,482 - 12/19-12/21 2. Heremias: $80,315,844 - 7/4-7/6 3. Kirby and the King's Caper: $75,913,832 - 5/9-5/11 4. 6. @cayommagazine Endless Animation's Gateways sequel has received another title change, from Gateways: The Gates to Eternity into Gateways: The Last Watcher. Director Jennifer Yuh Nelson comments that development is going surprisingly well, commenting they have the story finally figured out, and how to blend all of the animation styles, replying one portion of the film has beings of multiple animation styles interacting with each other to seamless degree thanks to the power of the Worldmeander technology. The budget is stated to be around 250m, and Nelson comments if pace continues this breakneck, the Y11 release date will happen.
  7. I wasn’t convinced for 300m until a few days ago, it’s having strong presales which indicates a 120m 3 day. I’m thinking John Wick or SpiderVerse like you said. Rooting that Puss could do it but unlikely (however if it follows the same holds as Sing this weekend, it’d be flat from last weekend.)
  8. With the same holds as Sing, the weekend would be flat this weekend too 👀
  9. @cayommagazine Dave Bautista (Dune, the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise) and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss (Seinfeld, National Lampoon Christmas Vacation, Captain America: New World Order) have signed on as main roles in Kelly Fremon Craig’s Red Flag. Bautista plays Mr. Richards, an affable but stern English teacher and father to Serena Richards (Millie Bobby Brown), who despite losing her in the shooting, is still adamant with his teaching career despite retirement being around the corner. Dreyfus’s plays Congresswoman Kira Carpenter, a key player in the Pennsylvania House and huge lobbyist for the NRA, determined to stop Violet’s (Haley Tju) gun regulation movement despite the fact that her son went to the same school and was promptly removed to a private school.
  10. Shrek 5 if Puss does 200m domestic, could have a strong enough domestic performance, not enough for 2B but maybe 1.5B
  11. I mean there’s a difference being in that a fourth Iron Man couldn’t fit in Phase 3 as it stood and Guardians will likely end with a new team.
  12. Did some math this morning and if Puss follows TGS to a tee, it’ll be at 145m at the end of January, 180m+ at end of February and should end March in the 192m range. With Mario double features and maybe a Tangled like stall it could do 200m: Using TGS type holds $128m as of 1/22 $143m as of 1/29 $155m as of 2/5 $165m as of 2/12 $175.5m as of 2/20 $181m as of 2/26 $185.35m as of 3/5th $187.66m as of 3/12 $189m as of 3/17
  13. To add if we used Rotten Tomatoes verified Black Adam technically has better reception than either MoM and LaT. The Suicide Squad is also over Love and Thunder.
  14. Monkey Ball should do nicely throughout March especially with Alakazam acting as a potential for double features. 150m seems likely.
  15. Honestly, Ryan Coogler is the best MCU director and the only one who could challenge him is Gunn. Probably one of my favorite directors. It’s wild his worst movie is a solid 4/5.
  16. The director is directing Kang Dynasty, of course Shang Chi is joining the Avengers. One of the Eternals will likely be an Avenger too.
  17. Oh with China, pretty good odds of it doing over 2, guessing like 650M with China? 550M without it?
