  1. LOL now I want a spin-off/THG trilogy sequel starring HER behaving like this! Ugh, Revolutionaries are such passe basic bitches. #CapitolRevenge for the fucking win!
  2. What other undeserving BP winner will get a sequel next? Crash Another Time, anyone?
  3. Frozen's "act of true love" for me.
  4. Maybe it was Rth's scheme to deliberately post lower than low numbers so that people will be satisfied with the actual mediocre numbers!
  5. Neo Renaissance? Renaissance II? After all, why should only stupid wars get to have Roman numerals?
  6. BH6 has soo much going for it now. The promotion writes itself: From the makers of Frozen, comes their very first Marvel superhero epic!
  7. Frozen is Beauty and the Beast! So this generation's Aladdin would either be Big Hero 6 or the Jack and the Beanstalk movie in WDAS pipeline.
  8. It deserves to! It's a once in a decade kind of movie!
  9. Not that I am complaining and I'm sure it will be heavenly to watch but it sounds so
  10. And what better movie to win the first Animated Feature Oscar for Disney than the one being called "the Beauty and the Beast of this generation" by critics?
  11. Does anyone here know whether it is easier or cheaper to make effects with a desaturated color palette than with a saturated color palette? Just asking as the number of big effects movies with desaturated colors >> number of big effects movies with saturated and bright colors.
  12. Sad but true. I think For the First Time in Forever will be the second nom too. Really unfortunate as Do You Want to Build a Snowman? is such a wonderful little song that ranges from cute to heartbreaking. Kristen Bell KILLS IT in the last verse!
  13. The novelty of seeing Spider-Man on the big screen for the first time was gone though and the Peter/MJ romance lost the sweetness it had in the first film. Compare that to CF which actually builds on the social/political themes of the first film and provides some superbly shot action scenes.
  14. Yeah, same here. I forgot about this countdown completely after watching Frozen last weekend. I would have changed my list so that Frozen would have been my new #1 or #2.
  15. I loved Kristoff's wholesome personality, "But it's a palace.. of ice!" "Someone should tell him!" "I don't trust your judgment." And his relationships with Sven and the trolls were adorable. "Fixer Upper" is one of the funniest Disney songs since "Prince Ali".
  16. Damn, Gnomeo and Juliet should have taken fudge baking lessons from Rapunzel to hit that exact round figure bullseye even when all hope seems lost just a few K's away from the milestone number.
  17. Yup. It was the riot that really brought home the full weight of the tragedy and the suffering of the districts.
  18. Kids went back to school. It may hit #1 this weekend though so it wouldn't need to be in that list anyway.
  19. ^I'd switch Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph positions but otherwise it's the same as mine!
  20. A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ I cannot express how much I love stories like The Catcher in the Rye where bubbly and devoted little sisters save the day and their moody, depressed, conflicted elder siblings too, having an amazing little sister myself. And Frozen delivered in that regard! Other departments the movie hit it out of the ballpark: Anna and Elsa, the two most complex and human female characters in the history of animation, with the most touching sibling relationship ever, brilliant songs and score which hark back to the Disney Renaissance Era, a wonderfully relatable male love interest in Kristoff, a fun and sweet sidekick in Olaf, breathtaking visuals and snow/Norwegian motifs, and Jennifer Lee's insanely creative and emotion charged script. Cannot wait to see it for the second time. May possibly replace The Incredibles as my favorite animated movie of the 21st century!
