I'll explain - 

 

So basically, this girl named Laura Palmer died and everyone is like "shit what the fuck happened to Laura Palmer?" and there's this other chick in a coma and no one knows what the fuck is going on, so this FBI guy Dale Cooper comes strolling in acting all weird and shit and he has these weird ass dreams with a dwarf and Laura Palmer. But anyway, he reckons Ben Horne, the owner of the lodge he's staying in is the culprit, oh and also Ben's daughter Audrey is infatuated with Cooper. And Horne owns this real nasty whorehouse casino thing called One Eyed Jack's and he goes to investigate there. But ANYWAY none of that is relevant because it turns out that Laura's father Leland was in fact possessed by a demon spirit called BOB, and with the help of the giant who visited Cooper when he was shot by Josie Packard Coop discovers Leland, who kills himself and BOB escapes his body.

 

But it's not all plain sailing from there as Cooper's former FBI partner Windom Earle came to town to kill a bunch of people, and try to get into the Black Lodge (where all the evil spirits hang out). so eventually he does and he takes Coop's girlfriend Annie in there with him, Coop goes after him only to discover that Earle was killed by BOB and Cooper himself gets possessed by the bastard.

 

So that's where we're up to in this thread.
