REVISED Weekend Estimates 6/14--6/16: Man of Steel OW $116.7M($128.7M including WM)

Recommended Posts

In terms of a Friday total, MOS should be able to clear high 20s/low 30s without Walmart+mids.

Agreed.

There's no controversy at all, and I'm surprised people are trying to push one.

Walmart should be included. It's the same as any Thrusday previews.

It's a ridiculously high number though.

I think this guarantees other studios will be going this route for other big time blockbusters.  I could see Barnes and Noble selling tickets for Catching Fire.

Maybe I'm just a dumbass, but what the hellll does Walmart have to do with anything?

Wallmart bought 12m worth of tickets to WB and less than half of Walmart people bought tickets for an actual MOS screening.

It is like a Now You See Me magic trick.

So let me get this straight. People bought 7PM previews at Walmart instead of Fandango, so now 12M should not count towards the OW.Serious logic problems here.

And wait until Target sells tickets for Thor 2

Don't forget, I could see CVS Pharmacy selling tickets for The Hobbit 2.
