Leyla
I have hated every Sofia Coppola film so I didn't have high expectations but to my suprise I really liked it. Watson and Chang were really good in it. thx for the reply I liked Sofia movies (esp 'Virgin suicides') so im gonna love it even more I guess
Azazel
Didn't the same thing happened in the THE AVENGERS with all those monsters and aliens? They were more concerned in eating Shawarma .
ecstasy
I think The Return of the King is the only answer to this question. Bourne Ultimatum is another answer to that question.
Jack Nevada
But it doesn't change the fact that thousands of people died too in THE AVENGERS. Cap was just in one place. Couldn't even save himself. lol Come on, you cant compare the amount of destruction in MoS to the destruction in TA. New York looked fucking post-apocalyptic after Superman's battle. ecstasy
Got to love the MOS hate around here. I can say the same about IM3 hate. Marvel vs. DC. A battle for the ages.

New York looked fucking post-apocalyptic after Superman's battle. But that was not really because of Zod and Supes, it was the freakin annoying ship that almost terraformed the planet. Walt Disney
They were more concerned in eating Shawarma . They fended off an alien invasion. They earned their dinner.

Punishment
Bourne Ultimatum is another answer to that question. Yep, I always miss that one - thanks. And Baumer, good point on the lower grossing first films I thought of you Ecstasy when I missed that one - just seeing if you were paying attention
Jack Nevada
The town looked pretty damn bad after both of them. Sure, but the city in MoS was in a far worse shape, beyond repair.
DMan7
Well at least in the avengers they showed the heroes trying to save people from the impending collateral damage, they refused to show Superman trying to stop Zod from causing all that collateral damage. It looked as if he was fighting Zod out of vengence with no regard to his surroundings with the damage the fight is causing. Jack Nevada
But that was not really because of Zod and Supes, it was the freakin annoying ship that almost terraformed the planet. There were also the bits where Supes was throwing Zodiac through buildings, causing them to be destroyed. But whatever, I wont argue about this. Kvikk Lunsj
This is ending up more like MAN OF FAIL with a drop like that and there's no spinning this either folks... Like Iron Man 3 but movies had huge drops that is what happens when you have weak screenplays. Bad word of mouth for both films.
