Nolan is so overrated after TDKR and his godchild MoS. They still call his earlier works masterpieces, which I vastly disagree with. Buffy seasons 5 etc were garbage. Dollhouse was garbage. Farscape >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Firefly/Senerity/whatever. Ed Wood = masterpiece. Batman =/= masterpiece. I've come across very few directors that know exactly what stories they want to tell and how to execute those stories.
