Fancyarcher
That is a very meh number. For a movie that only opened with 34 million (discounting midnight numbers). It’s not bad.
baumer
For a movie that only opened with 34 million (discounting midnight numbers). It’s not bad. Sorry, but how a film opens has no bearing on what it should or shouldn't drop. It fell 60%. IMO, that's kinda high, but not tragic.
fishstick
I liked PR a lot, have no particular reason to root against it but fat Internet bloggers were so annoying in their begging the readers to see this that I'm gleeful their "influence" proved to be as always. John Marston
Well that's a completely unspectacular number

It fell 60% because it was a Monday. Will see how it does over the weekend, but I hope it doesn't far apart next weekend (though I don't doubt it). It doesn't deserve bomb status. warfreakbix
Maybe it will go the Titanic route, i meant in the box office not the real Titanic. I'm being nice.

fishstick
GA suck. No, Fat Internet Bloggers suck because their whining and "Why everyone must see PR/Scott Pilgrim/another overbudgeted niche flop?" essays about the choice between saving the future of movies vs destroying it is what turns off moderately geeky GA that anjoys tentpoles but draws the line somewhere (as in don't want to be mistaken for those clowns who think obviously dumb movies are thinking man's shit). JohnnyGossamer
Even before the Monday drop, I expected a drop near 60% for Pacific Rim this coming weekend. Seeming less and less likely this flick sniffs $100M DOM. In some ways I'm relieved. I'd Guillermo worked on other projects rather than waste time crafted a sequel to Pacific Rim. Gopher
It would need worse legs than Cowboys & Aliens to miss 100. Absolutely not going to happen.

Cmasterclay
Yea, this will hit 100, WOM is good among people I've talked to and the combination of summer legs and curiousity is certainly strong enough to propel it to 105-
