Tues #s RTH

Recommended Posts

I'm really disappointed in The East.  I really wish they would of had more confidence in it and gave it a semi wide release.  I still haven;t seen it and it is number one on my list to do so.

yeah too bad

still Ok number for what it is

I've never watched an entire Transformers movie but that trailer was amazing.

lucky u

I had to suffer through TF1 on the big screen

I wish I walked out

yeah congrats to STiD as well

nice movie

I'm disappointed that PR isn't doing better.  It's not a good film, but I thought it was a fun entertaining one. I thought the character development was lousy, and that the focus on the film should have been on some of the supporting characters as their backstories were the most interesting. However, most big summer blockbusters have the same problems.  The biggest problem that PR had was that it had piss poor marketing.  Because the film did have a human element that I think would have appealed to the GA if it had been advertised appropriately.

Glad to see that DM2 is still going strong though.

Yep.  TH is on it's way to 150 minimum.  GU2, imo will stall out at about 125-130.

I took a chance with The Heat and had it down with a 200M+ total in BSG. I will lost points for the gross for sure, but it's okay, I'm really glad it's doing well  :)

Star Trek making it to 225 this week makes me happy. Not as high as I was hoping for, but its good legs are undeniable. Now just give 3 a good release date in 2016 (50th anniversary) and it will do numbers people were expecting STiD to achieve. Lets not forget its by far the highest rated big summer movie by audiences on RT, 92%.

And I still haven't seen it yet.

They did have them scheduled for 7pm and 10pm, but the distributor pulled the plug a few days ago.  Not a great sign.

Seriously? What about opening day numbers. Doesn't Nikki do that type of stuff? Shouldn't she have an update by now?

I doubt that "sign" is anything.  Turbo isn't the kind of film that would do well at 10pm anyway.  My theater liked it immensely (rousing applause at the end).  So I don't think pulling it from Tues sneaks is bad at all.
