Top Gun 2 and Avatar 2 are both more than 18 months out...  what makes something eligible to be "off" the lot?

It's more that sequels to a film that hasn't been released yet are kept "on the lot" until the preceding film is released.

 

e.g. Avengers 4 was only moved in May.

2vatar got grandfathered in and Top Gun 2 got delayed after the thread was moved.

Avatar 2 was grandfathered in, Top Gun 2 was originally 2019 and then moved, was easier to keep it there. This one won't hit the main forum till Avatar 2 releases though.

MCU X and MCU X+1 are both off the lot! Let's go with 18 months
