Since the international rights were already sold, Constantin have already made their money, it'll be Sony and the local distributors who will have lost on MI's poor performance.

You don't know for how much these rights were sold.

Mortal Instruments is not an established property/brand so I doubt Constatin made that many bucks with those foreign distribution rights.

Riddick is a franchise that really doesn't have much traction here.  I wouldn't be surprised to see this fall 60-65% next weekend.  If it opens to 18, it will probably end with 40.
