This should be interesting but I don't know how Paramount is gonna do this considering they are in talks with the digital stuff.

Am I the only one who thinks this digital stuff is barely worth mentioning in regards to box office take for something that isn't going to have massive legs?

This thing will be allowed to take however long (or short) to get down to 300 theaters and then continue untouched for the next 2 weeks as well before going digital. Even if it stopped getting shown completely (and it won't be), that's still what? 1% of its total take? So a few hundred thousand max?

Meh?

I still don't entirely get the strong push towards digital. Netflix is going to learn quite quickly that movies released digitally are still seen as DTV-level scum. Films like Hot Tub Time Machine 2 which are digitally available two months after only furthers the stench of a bomb towards audiences.

People are not ready to fully embrace digital media when it comes to film yet. TV shows are totally different.

yeah I guess so. But this should be one of those limited release things if that. But I hope they put this in all theaters because this sounds fun.
