keysersoze123
US - 50M minimum Rest of Current OS - 70M (france itself will probable score 25-30M) China/UK/Japan - 150M WW - 700M. That might me enough to beat Thor 2.

vc2002
A Thunder God, A Nice Alien and A Medical Doctor Hmmm...somebody should be able to write a story around this... A hot sequel, a hot reboot, and a original project that no one expected it to break out, yeah somebody should definitelty write a story about how they are gonna make as much at the boxoffice. A Marvel Fanboy
Cant see less than 50M from UK, as it is very similar in taste to US, where Gravity is huge. A breakout in Japan could mean $50m or $80m or $100m ... god knows ... it is a wild cat. Schedule in China is shit ... I hope for only $50m. Leyla
yeah hopefully it gets to 700m It could actually gross more here if not 4 the loss of screens to Stalingrad & now TDW it had nice staying power

I know schedule is sh*t but this is a country where scifi spectacular did so much business: TF3, IM3, and PACRIM All did in excess of $100M, and all were advertised heavily as 3D/IMAX Experience. It will be an utter disappointment if GRAVITY only did $50M.

Andy
$241,200,000 OS total. Was 207 million last week WW total $472,319,
keysersoze123
Any idea on UK OW. Did not break out as much as expected. I am thinking 650M WW may be more plausible. I am not too optimistic about china considering its opening against CF.

I am not too optimistic about china considering its opening against CF. 9.8 million $ opening in UK. I think it is quite solid considering it has not been a superb opener in any country. It will have good legs. I am on the other side in China: I would not be too optimistic with CF in China because it opens against Gravity. Heretic
Yeah, Gravity's opening is very good in the UK, right around what was expected.
