I've heard it might be "too much" for the Academy types. @ it being campaigned in musical/comedy category though. That category is such a joke, but I do think it's necessary because it allows recognition to some good films/performances that otherwise wouldn't sniff the Oscars (i.e. Colin Farrell's win for In Bruges).
