Captain America: The Winter Soldier ( More than $700M WW, Huge Success!)

Recommended Posts

So 35M OS week. That's less than 50% drop from last week. If it benefits from holidays next week to soften the drop expected from Spidey, we could see it's getting real close to TDW's OS total by next Sunday.

So TDW made $34.4m more O/S after pacing about 24% behind CA2's w/e. If CA2 has the same drops then it would be on pace to make  $42.66m and finish with $462.96m

Remember that at that time TDW hadn't been released in Japan yet. But on the other hand next Thursday is a holiday almost everywhere and that would help Cap ;-)

The weekend drop is a bit harsher than weekends before (around 54-55%), but it did well enough on weekdays that the weekly drop is good. Let's see how next week shape up. We should get an update on Tuesday when it passes 650M.
