Cairo
If Best Man beats Thor this weekend, Kevin Feige has to give Terrence Howard a $10M check and an formal apology for replacing him in Iron Man 2. Plus, the role of Iron Man in any future movies. A lot of black women will watch Best Man Holiday despite Taye and Terrence, not because of them. Cairo
I know right? Delivery Man is gonna be huge. Future mega-star Chris Pratt is in it after all. Don't forget Cobie Smulders. Dat Avengers' effect.

grim22
Is Deadline just reading Nikki's twitter feed or something? http://www.deadline.com/2013/11/box-office-best-man-holiday-thor-dark-world/ FRIDAY PM: Universal’s The Best Man Holiday, the sequel tothe studio’s 1999 hit, might not wield the pop culture hammer of Marvel/Disney’s Thor: The Dark World, but don’t be surprised if it makes a run for No. 1 at the box office this weekend against the comic hero. The Malcolm D Lee-directed Best Man Holiday — which was made for $17M and boasts a strong ensemble cast including Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard and Sanaa Lathan — likely will finish the weekend in the mid-$30M range after afternoon estimates suggest a $12.5M-$13.5M Friday. I’m hearing that Thor 2 is expected to take $37.4M in its second week in the marketplace after notching the year’s fourth-biggest opening last frame. Of course both will be overtaken next weekend, when Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: Catching Fire takes all the oxygen out of the room. Cmasterclay
TBMH is actually pretty damn good. Gets too manipulative and overt towards the end, but its funny and very well acted.

Cmasterclay
Also, D.C's two big theaters sold out all their nighttime showings of Best Man, and so did my theater back home. It's doing very well.
Jandrew
My parents saw BMH tonight. Even though the original didnt exactly set the BO on fire I knew this one would be special. But i was expecting mid-20's not mid 30's, so very strong. As for Thor, idrk. Edited November 16, 2013 by Jandrew

Accursed Arachnid!™
THE POWER OF HOWARD. Yes. Because he should have gotten the money RDJ got for IM2. He was that franchise and they screwed themselves by firing him. Serves them right.
Cmasterclay
Even though Cheadle is a brilliant actor and seems like a great person, I tend to enjoy Howard as an actor more, and he would have been a much better WM
