The sad part is he doesn't need the paycheck. He probably makes $50m+ from these things and he's already incredibly wealthy.

Probably around 100m on the last one + his Hasbro contract.

Bay is already worth around 500M I think.

He ll be the fourth 1B worth filmmaker after George, Steven & James.

it might actually be a good idea to give the franchise a rather long break. Like what happened with the JurassicPark franchise

Well Paramount's got nothing and this will make them a billion annually soooooo

I wonder how low this would have to go dom for them to take a step back, think under 150M would do it?

As long as China stays over 200M Paramount won't give a shit. If it went under 200M there and under 100 in the US, then they'd reconsider. The Bumblebee spinoff is probably doing low-100's to begin with

Bumblebee movie happening is actually insane to me, do they think people care about the characters in these things?

Not even China will care about the Bumblebee movie.

Are you kidding? He's easily the most loved character from the Transformers franchise

Yeah who could forget all those classic moments, like the time he played his radio instead of talking or transformed into a car. Classic.
