Phil in the Blank
Awesome. Sadly way overused. Yeah I agree, but still hearing it for the first time watching Sunshine in the cinema....amazing. Another one that has sadly been way over used Lux Aeterna - Requiem for a Dream (Clint Mansall) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLJllk-0o6c

Lordmandeep
When it comes to modern Soundtracks past 10 or so years, Lord of the Rings is on another level. I remember the Charge of The Riders of Rohan. I was like 14 while I watched that in theaters and I was so overwhelmed by the epic nature of the soundtrack and the whole scene. Lordmandeep
For any history Gettysburg is great. Martin Sheen looked like 100% real version of General Lee.

SchumacherFTW
Surprised nobody's mentioned any of this stuff yet Also, not movie music, but after the intro this gets pretty damn epic, especially for a video game.
baumer
Hard to pick just one from John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith and even James Horner. The entire Titanic Soundtrack is stunningly beautiful.
