12 Years not getting in for cinematography seem like a serious oversight. The contrast between the beauty of the landscape against the horror of the inhumanity was a major reason the film worked.

Inside Llewyn Davis got the same number of nominations as The Lone Ranger. I think I'm going to cry.

If the academy reacted the way the audience did when I saw this yesterday, I'm not surprised Inside Llewyn Davis got zilch.

I know I shouldn't be, but I'm still shocked Meryl got in. I just thought this would be the year they wouldn't nominate her.

 

Anyway, I'm rooting for Amy Adams, and then Sandra Bullock.

 

It's Meryl. I mean, I bet we would see her nominated without her appearing in any movies of that year.

2nd time in 3 years in a row that Pixar is snubbed. Wow.

To be fair, they won (pretty undeservedly) last year.

 

And the year before that, they had Cars 2, so that missing a nomination isn't too surprising.
