On cineguru they say that the first debuted with 2M on a Thursday for a 10M weekend, and honestly I can't stand Wednesday releases not only because they are useless but also because they do less than what they would have done if they came out on thursday (this time more than usual since there was France-Morocco)

 

Moreover, while yesterday it was projected on over 1200 screens today it's at over 1400 (close to the record of Quo Vado at 1500), so I would say to ignore the opening day and watch only the result of the weekend (also remembering that on Sunday the final will be watched by 15 million viewers...)

Great friday bump. Trying to think of what weekend should look like with WC deflating sunday but feels like should still be 5+ for 9+ opening overall to me.

Was expecting something more than 2.3 million, in any case considering that Avatar 2 broke the record for the widest distribution but grossing practically half of Quo Vado it means that a big part of the theaters must be empty. At least from a logical point of view, then I have no idea...

Lmao went up to 3.069 million with the update. Way more in line with what I was thinking. Nice!

 

Sunday will be weakened by WC, may still get a 9M opening but not sure what to expect.
