I do think attendance in general domestically is down. No film since 2009 has sold over 50m tickets. DH2 for example is actually only the fourth attended Potter film. I wonder sometimes if 3d hurts films mire than help

The only film that comes to mind that I wish had done better was Drive. It wasn't nearly as 'slow' as some said and should have had a ton of mainstream appeal.

Kids didn't like Rango very much. Rio was released in April, and even with Easter it is still a bad month (and lets not forget Hop, that was released 2 weeks before Rio). Shrek franchise is dead in America, so why would people see a prequel about the Puss? Competition also hurted is legs.
