No one knows. The franchise is so irrelevent to kids Disney themselves gave up on it. It only exist nowadays due to half the show being Japanese stock footage, thus keeping the cost cheap.

Adults aren't turning up this, kids don't care. The release date says it all.

I love the Jason description, because it basically sounds the like stereotypical "hero rises to the occasion" crap, we typically get in these kinds of movies.
