I knew this was coming. The PR are basically superheroes with their own giant robots, hell the rangers are supposed to be teens so they could add some YA coming-of-age romance if they really wanted. It screams $$$

 

 

i bet money the rangers will look similar to this. just with color. 

 

also pacific rim or michael bay inspired Zords? 

 

 

wait Lionsgate is behind this? They'll make it YA inspired for sure.

Unlike Transformers I don't see any version of Power Rangers being four quadrant entertainment. (Yeah, I went there).

Yeah hi, Avengers. And yes, I went there too. It's what I was thinking when watching Avengers "yep, now I can see Hollywood is able to make PR an actual hit movie franchise"

The Transformer movies are far from being mature. If anything if Michael Bay directed a Power Rangers film, it would be very childish.

They seem to be taken this project seriously. I hope they get a good director. With good marketing and possible good word of mouth, I can see this movie making over 100 million DOM.
