Mattrek
Are you going to do WW scoring also?
JJ-8
I will. Just got a little tired. That's a job for later. The WW scores could be very interesting.
JJ-8
Most are in the 190-220k range. Pretty consistent surprisingly.Yeah. There wasn't a large list films selected. We all failed for 7 films mainly due to dragon2 failing. Interesting the final 7 films were all predicted by at least someone meaning there are no massive surprises but maybe a few minor ones. baumer
I'm going to keep the scores hidden for now. These are the scores that change the game and they are usually tabulated at the end of the game......so I'll wait just a little bit before adding them in. Punishment
Yeaaa those WW weekend scores are probably worth a bit too much IMO I think Baumer added one too many zeros to those international bonus scores ; they will definitely play a huge role in the final standings. JJ-8
As chasmi said. Turtles are threatening to turn the top 7 on its head. Estimates after Friday are 62m to 68m from DHD. Only needs 69m......
CJohn
I think you should just cut the WW weekend all together because the OS rollout is impossible to truly know. IMDb most of the times isn't updated, and we have to make predictions in late April. It is a mess.
The Dark Alfred
It's not a mess. Just one needs more time to do the predictions. The list is clear of what territorries each film open. I made the mistake overpredicting Dragon assumed it was openingt most countriers the same day and it didn't.
CJohn
No, it isn't. IMDb most of times doesn't have the correct dates.
Mattrek
You can pretty much assume which movies will have day and date and which will have an extended release though. Big budget franchise films always have day and date with a few exceptions and mostly all animated films and lower budget movies have extended releases. There are inevitably a few outliers as there are every summer, but that gets you right 90-95% of the time. It's not rocket science.
