Rsyu
Korea is increasing in its 2nd weekend. its a market where movie starts strong and then has good legs and then dies very quickly. Pretty accurate. I think Interstellar could hold well until next week (week3) and drop more sharply from week 4 onwards. Hernan Gonzalez
News from Latin America: Interstellar is falling hard in Argentina 45%+, but holding very good in Peru and Chile (Less than 20%)
picores
So far, good holds coming from S.Korea, Russia, UK, Italy, Germany.... China opening put 80m as the floor there and counting with 150 DOM, Interstellar seems in very good shape for 500 WW right now. Also 550 WW are very well in play.
eXtacy
It seems to be having small drops in Australia (ball lightning at his theater reporting almost flat from last weekend) and Italy Saturday down only 10% Legs looking really good almost everywhere

keysersoze123
I am thinking around 40% drop overall in holdovers( 50M) plus another 40M in china. So around 90M weekend. Should gross 350M minus Japan.

DAJK
New (HUGE) OS total: $224m http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=interstellar.htm WOW! Call me optimistic, but I think 400M OS is possible, and a total approaching 600WW as well. 180DOM 410OS 590WW Of course, the numbers could still push a few million higher than this.

Olive
The movie is doing huge business in China for a 2D title, earning $42 million since it opened last Wednesday, Nolan's biggest launch of all time. Overall internationally, Interstellar earned another $106 million this weekend from 63 markets for a drop of just 22 percent from opening weekend.

Olive
Where do you expect it to finish in China? $100m? With great Word of mouth and not many competitions in next 2 weeks, 100M should happen.

Olive
Is 250M more from current markets too much to ask? 224+250+25-30M(Japan) =500M 500M is in play!
James
Is 250M more from current markets too much to ask? 224+250+25-30M(Japan) =500M 500M is in play! Well, 80M will come just from China and SK. That alone brings it to 300M OS. It's on the other territories + Japan to make 200M or so. It's not impossible, just unlikely at this point. If next weekend has a drop in the 30% area we should get a better idea.
