They originally estimated $35 million for Apes, so hopefully that's a good sign.

Pretty dumb that they give us weekend estimates without a Friday number, though. Deadline is infamous on here for doing that.

 

That way we can't make fun of their multiplication prowess. They must have gotten like 12-13m for Friday from a real ape who knows sign language.

Oh, jesus. Im seeing my gf next week and shes stated that shes wanted to see Hercules and Lucy, which mean sill probably be stuck seeing either one. Life isnt always fair is it. Dat Interstellar trailer tho. But then Hercules afterwards tho. I havent even looked, whats the word on these two movies? Good popcorn fun or popcorn puke?Edit: numeros

Hercules apparently won't be screened for critics until Thursday, which is always a great sign for quality.

Well, according to user reviews from pretty much everywhere, Ratner still hasn't made an out and out stinker(no ratings below 6 to be found). I think he may be due. I mean, he did recently(and seriously) consider making a Youngblood film with Rob Liefeld. Maybe he's finally losing his ability to do decent hackjobs.

I have read from several people that Purge 2 is way better than the first Purge.

 

That seems to be the consensus opinion by far. I think the first Purge being so bad has indirectly benefited this even if this may be a tiny improvement in quality.
