Great hold for GOTG. I see a pretty light second weekend drop in store.

After the opening and secon weekend it's a shame that apes hasn't had better holds. Really wanted that 3x and it's going to be pushing to get there.

Saw GotG yesterday, and I have to say that it's not just hype, it definitely had action, humor and a lot of heart.

 

I hope that it can crack the 300m mark. Marvel is definitely on a role with the quality of movies they've been pushing out. Gives me hope that among all the stuff that's happening with Ant Man, it will still be a very good movie.

Give it a 10% drop on Thurs and it's down around 8 mill.  

 

So based on that the weekend would be about:

 

Fri: 12

Sat: 16.8

Sun:  12.5

 

About 40 mill or a 58% drop
