The Panda
Both Dawn/Apes and Guardians were 55% over 25. As to Guardians $7.6m, it's not a bad number at all when comparing it to other movies. It was just automatically assumed yesterday that it would drop 10% (how that number came to be who knows). Yeah, so a good friday increase is definitely possible. Marvel movies are four quadrant, not just kid pandering.
#ED
Wonder what Dragon Ball Z got on its final day There were no shows in NYC yesterday so I'm going to assume it was more limited yesterday than the other 2 days.

Hilderic
Again a good theatre count hold for HTTYD2 (-38.9% and that's the highest loss so far). I'm surprised it's holding better than Maleficent, given that the latter has consistently beaten it in average theatre gross throughout the week. Caladbolg
ouch for Into the Storm. WB should have released Twister in 3D instead.
Jack Nevada
Into the Storm is fucking expensive for a found footage movie: 50M.
grim22
Good preview number for Turtles. The kiddie matinees on Saturday will decide if it can overperform and possibly hit 50 for the weekend, if GOTG gets the kid/family audience then it will end closer to 40. DAJK
When the weekend estimates come in, I'm pretty sure they'll say 50M for Turtles, while Actuals will probably be closer to 48M
